It was my first visit to Acharya Dental and it was an amazingly pleasant experience. Both Dr. Varun Acharya and Dr. Umashankari were dedicated, accommodating and patient in addressing all my concerns and ensuring I was thoroughly informed of the procedures that needed to be done and the exact cost involved. The professionalism and general dedication and work integrity was evident throughout my visits. I’m very pleased with the results and outcome and would definitely recommend them and the clinic to everyone I know.

Several years ago I met with a freak road accident in which I lost a few teeth. I was rushed to a nearby ‘big’ hospital where no doctor/staff attended on me for over 24 hours and on top of that I was starving and no visitor was also allowed to meet me. Then my husband Prof. T. R. Balakrishnan took me to the Acharya Dental, [against ‘medical advice’, as the hospital put it!], where Dr. Vijailakshmi Acharya took personal care and treated me immediately. She then put a ‘bridge’ that has stood the test of time even after several years now! Thank you Dr. Vijailakshmi Acharya. From then onwards my husband and I go to her clinic for regular check-ups and cleaning. Dr. Vijailakshmi Acharya has an excellent band of young and talented dental surgeons handpicked and trained by her. Recently my husband Dr. T. R. Balakrishnan and I had an appointment with Dr. Magesh, as part of our regular check-up and cleaning. Both of us were extremely happy with the way he treated us with kindness and courtesy. Dr. Magesh explained very patiently and answered our doubts with clarity coupled with politeness. Thank you Dr. Magesh.

I met Dr. Acharya for the first time more than 10 years ago. Since I had many appointments with her due to the bad conditions of my teeth. It was a big challenge on her side. I immediately had all my confidence in her. Her very serious professionalism, the high technology that is found at all levels of her dental clinic and her tremendous sympathy make it by far the best dental clinic I have met so far. For her, everything is possible, and everything that Dr. Acharya made for me is a success . She is a big part of my happy smile.

I have been going to Acharya Dental ever since I was 5. I say this not because I am biased, but it is by far the best dental clinic in Chennai. A big shout out and thank you to them to them. I especially thank Dr. Vijaylakshmi and her doctors for decades of painless treatments, the best post-care, reminders every few months, comfort and hospitality.

A mirror is then kept in front of them and they invariably detect their own faces with a broad grin laying their entire teeth and gums bare.
