Steps to a perfect smile

Make an appointment to meet the specialist at Acharya Dental for a consultation. Photographs and xrays will be taken to plan your case.
Step 2
Your specialist will perform an intra oral scan of your teeth – this is done using a handheld camera. The digital impression is sent to the aligner center for production.
Step 3
In a few weeks, you’ll get perfectly fitting aligner trays, ready for use!

Aligners work well for teens and adults. Like other types of braces, aligners work by gradually moving the teeth to the desired position. This is achieved by wearing a series of aligners, each for a certain period of time, the specifics of which will be advised by the specialist after a thorough clinical examination.
Following a discussion with the orthodontist about your expectations of treatment, a detailed clinical evaluation will be done. X- rays, photographs and dental scans are used to assess your teeth and jaw position. The progress of the movement of your teeth will be shown to you on the computer screen. If you are satisfied with the final predicted appearance of your teeth, the orthodontist approves the treatment and the aligners are delivered to you in one month by your orthodontist at Acharya Dental.
Clear aligners, such as Invisalign, are completely transparent. People generally do not notice them. You can see them if observed very carefully in well lit conditions.
The aligners must be worn for a period of 22 hours a day at a minimum. The aligners need to be removed while eating and brushing your teeth.
When a new set of aligners is worn, mild discomfort is felt which lasts for the first few hours. This is described by most patients as mild pressure on the teeth, which disappears as the teeth adapt to the new aligners.
The duration of the treatment varies from patient to patient. Duration of the treatment will be explained in detail by our specialist after a complete clinical examination. Aligners can be faster than braces in certain cases as multiple teeth movements can be facilitated simultaneously.
There are absolutely no dietary restrictions when wearing aligners, unlike conventional braces. This is the biggest advantage of aligners. You can eat whatever you like as you can remove the aligners and eat comfortably. Aligners have to be removed while eating. Liquids can be consumed while wearing aligners.
The aligner cost depends on the number of trays required to align your teeth. The number of trays needed can be determined after a clinical examination and a scan of your teeth using the aligner software. The cost of Invisalign and other aligners solutions are very affordable, and patients are increasingly choosing this option as aligner treatment does not affect their lifestyle.
You must visit the specialist at least once every 3- 5 months during the course of treatment for follow- up visits. This is done to ensure that the teeth movement occurs as predicted by the software. Following are simple instructions you must follow when using aligners:
- Rinse aligners with water whenever you remove them.
- Do not use hot water to clean aligners.
- Clean the aligner with soap. Do not use toothpaste to clean them. A soft brush can be used to clean the aligners.
- Place the aligner in the box provided when it is not in your mouth.
You must brush and floss your teeth before you wear the aligners.

Hello friends good day to you all,My name is Shahid Mohammed , iam 61 years old and my wife’s sister has recommended me to visit Acharya. Basically i am visiting India on vacation from Canada. Initially i had to put a cap which was broken and the doctors took my whole jaws x ray. Doctor Mahesh has done nicely the front tooth cap, and upon seeing my x ray he did recommend me a surgical extraction of my lower jaw tooth which was well performed by doctor seema. Though my cheek was swollen for 10 days and giving daily hot water fermentation and mouth wash plus medication has helped me. This was reduced after 15 days. I had root canal treatment and first time I had some pain and doctor sulochana said she would do i another sitting. Then she sent me down to surgical extraction and doctor seema done well with 2or 3 stitches. My point is anyone has to face with courage to our dental issues , and iam overall happy and very soon going to finish my treatment.
