Dental inlays and onlays are a sort of ‘middle ground’ between dental crowns and dental fillings. They are usually used in back teeth where there is an average degree of tooth decay or a gap between teeth. Inlays and onlays can also be used to restore fractured teeth, but a severe fracture might require a crown or extraction of the tooth itself. Ask about these conservative restoration techniques at our clinic.
