Due to advancing age, crooked teeth, muscular tension or an imbalanced bite, teeth gums can recede to expose roots of the teeth and also show up as an uneven gum line. Sharon* was concerned about her receding
gums in the lower front teeth.
She was treated by using a connective tissue graft which we took from her own mouth and attached it over the receded gum area. It’s now 4 weeks and the grafted skin appears paler. This will gradually return to a more normal color in 3 months. Sharon is very pleased with the result!
